How to buy tickets and cards

When you travel with our buses and trains you can buy a single ticket, but the most favourable alternative is our Travel card - Resekortet. The card has two functions; Discount and Period. You can use both functions or choose one - whatever suits your travels best. Here you can read more about Resekortet.

With our travel card Resekortet you can buy train tickets from our ticket machines, Customer Centres or Sales outlets. Travel Cards can be bought and charged on board the bus, at our Customer Centre, sales outlets, ticket machines (for topping-up your card only) or via “Mina sidor” (My pages). Note! Mina sidor is only available in Swedish and you need a social security number to be able to use this service. When charging or buying via “Mina sidor” you will also receive an extra 10 % worth on your Resekortet Discount card or a 10% period discount if you travel with Resekortet Period card for Kronoberg County.

Bus tickets

You can buy and charge your Travel Card on the bus, yet to reduce cash on board we prefer if you use other ways of paying. There are MasterCard and Visa terminals on all of our buses. When paying with cash on board the bus a surcharge of 20 SEK is added. No surcharge is added when using a pay card, e-ticket or travel card/Resekortet.

Train tickets

Train tickets can be purchased in our ticket machines at the railway stations, our Customer Center at Växjö station and our sales outlets in Växjö, Lessebo, Hovmantorp, Alvesta, Gemla, Lammhult, Moheda and Älmhult. Entering the train without a valid ticket is not allowed.

If there is no possibility to buy a ticket at the station before departure you do not pay any on board surcharge.

Mobile tickets/E-ticket

Mobile tickets are bought via our app "Länstrafiken Kronoberg". To download our app please visit Google play or App Store. You should be ready show your ticket to the driver when getting on board.
