Länstrafiken Kronoberg is part of Region Kronoberg and we are responsible for all public transportation with in Kronoberg County. 

 

Whether you commute back and forth between work and school or travel in your spare time, we always offer a comfortable, price worthy and environmentally friendly alternative. By bus In Kronoberg County you travel convenient both locally and regionally by Länstrafiken Kronoberg's city and regional buses.

 

We make 7.5 million journeys every year. City buses operate in Växjö and Älmhult. By regional buses you can travel all over the County and across its borders into the counties of Skåne, Blekinge, Halland, Jönköping and Kalmar. By train In Kronoberg County you can choose among three different train systems: Öresundståg, Krösatågen and SJ Regional. For Öresundståg and Krösatågen the regular county transport rate applies, which makes cross-border travel smoother as you only need one card - Resekortet.

Öresundstågen is a joint train traffic system in southern Sweden and Denmark. In Sweden it is run by the following transport companies: Blekingetrafiken, Hallandstrafiken, Kalmar Länstrafik, Länstrafiken Kronoberg, Skånetrafiken and Västtrafik. 

 

You can travel to and from Kronoberg County with Öresundstågen on the Kalmar-Malmö/Copenhagen route.

Krösatågen is a cooperation between the county transport companies of Jönköping, Kalmar, Halland and Kronoberg. It is easy to travel with Krösatågen, for example between Växjö and Jönköping.  SJ Regional trains operate the Karlskrona/Kalmar–Gothenburg route. The Länstrafiken Period Train Travel Card is valid for journeys on the following route: Lessebo–Hovmantorp–Växjö–Alvesta. Länstrafiken's Resekort Discount card tickets are not valid on SJ Regional trains. However, the Period Train Travel Card is valid in the zones concerned.
